EINSTEIN debuted The Amp in 1990 after three years of development, setting a new standard in high-fidelity audio with its innovative circuitry and captivating sound qualities, which gained widespread recognition and appreciation from both industry experts and passionate music enthusiasts around the globe.

 “THE TUBE”

“The Tube”was EINSTEIN’s first tube preamplifier, which received its first review in 1999 by Roland Kraft of Image Hifi. In 2007, it was awarded the ‚Most Innovative Product 2007‘ by Soundstage in the USA, solidifying its reputation as a groundbreaking component in the world of high-end audio.

 “THE LAST RECORD PLAYER”

In 1999, the world of high-end audio was forever changed when EINSTEIN released its very first CD player to the market. With its meticulously crafted design, cutting-edge technology, and uncompromising attention to detail, the EINSTEIN CD player quickly gained a reputation for delivering unparalleled sonic performance and a truly transcendent listening experience.

“THE FINAL CUT”

In 2002, EINSTEIN fulfilled another dream of its founders with the introduction of “The Final Cut”, a pair of tube monoblock power amplifiers. The realization of this challenging and flawless concept was a resounding success, raising the bar for high-end audio performance. Paired with “The Tube” preamplifier, the listening experience was elevated to an entirely new level.

“THE ABSOLUTE TUNE”

Based on the developments of “The Tube” and “The Final Cut”, EINSTEIN created “The Absolute Tune”, a hybrid integrated amplifier in 2003. By combining the best of both worlds, this amplifier was designed to be affordable while still delivering the signature EINSTEIN sound quality.

“THE LIGHT IN THE DARK”

In 2005, EINSTEIN introduced ”The Light In The Dark”, a stereo power amplifier which served as a more affordable alternative to The Final Cut, making high-end audio more accessible to a wider audience. This amplifier was another example of EINSTEIN’s unconventional approach to tube technology.

“THE TURNTABLE’S CHOICE”

In 2005, EINSTEIN launched ”The Turntable’s Choice”, their phono preamplifier that is still considered one of the best, if not the best, in the world of vinyl enthusiasts today.

“THE SOURCE”

In 2007, EINSTEIN took another big leap forward with the introduction of their new CD player, “The Source”, which set new standards. Like “The Tube”, “The Final Cut”, and “The Turntable’s Choice”, this CD player became a reference for many renowned hi-fi magazines worldwide.

“THE LITTLE BIG PHONO”

In 2009, EINSTEIN introduced the “Little Big Phono”, a compact yet powerful phono preamplifier. Despite its small size, it packed a punch with its exceptional sound quality and advanced features. It quickly became a favorite among audiophiles and reviewers alike, earning praise for its ability to bring out the best in vinyl recordings.

“THE FINAL CUT ULTIMATE”

EINSTEIN AUDIO COMPONENTS revamped their popular tube mono power amplifier, “The Final Cut”, in 2010, resulting in the even more impressive “The Final Cut Ultimate”. The blend of cutting-edge circuitry and precise craftsmanship made it a masterpiece of audiophile art, earning it accolades in the Hi-Fi community.

“THE ABSOLUTE TUNE & THE LIGHT IN THE DARK”

With a new circuit board layout and various changes to the components and circuitry, “The Absolute Tune” and “The Light in The Dark” underwent a major overhaul in 2011 with the addition of the “Limited Edition” label. These changes can also be retrofitted to older models for a complete upgrade.

“THE PREAMP”

In 2011, the legendary preamplifier “The Tube” was succeeded by “The Preamp”. Something astonishing was achieved: an already perfect product was actually noticeably improved in every respect!

“THE SILVER BULLET”

In 2012, EINSTEIN AUDIO COMPONENTS finally released the new OTL power amplifiers, “The Silver Bullet”. With all the experience gathered over the years, we managed to improve upon an already perfect concept.

“THE POWERAMP”

The stereo partner to “The Preamp”, “The Poweramp”, also followed in 2012 – a result of the considerations for “The Silver Bullet”.

“THE THUNDER AND THE FLASH”

In 2012, EINSTEIN AUDIO COMPONENTS finally completed their search for the ultimate cable. Working together with cable specialist Konrad Wächter, they developed ”The Thunder” speaker cable and ”The Flash” NF cable.

“THE AMP ULTIMATE”

EINSTEIN’s first amplifier, “The Amp”, was developed in transistor technology in 1988 and quickly became a legend, setting new standards for sound quality and technical excellence. In 2012, the company decided to continue this legacy by developing “The Amp Ultimate”, taking it even further.

“THE OCTOPUS ULTIMATE”

EINSTEIN released “The Octopus Ultimate” power strip in 2013, providing superior power delivery and improved sound quality to audiophiles.

“THE FLASH AND THE THUNDER”

In 2013, EINSTEIN AUDIO COMPONENTS developed the NF cable “The Flash” and the speaker cable “The Thunder”. With the same attention to detail and dedication to audio excellence as their amplifiers and preamplifiers, these cables quickly became popular among audiophiles looking for high-quality audio transmission.

“THE PICKUP”

Volker Bohlmeier had the idea of developing his own phono cartridge already 30 years ago. When he met Leif Joannsen, the Chief Designer of Ortofon, the plan for a perfect phono cartridge took shape. And when Christen Nielsen, the CEO of Ortofon, approved this project, the idea became reality.
